Favorite Foods We Ate At Tokyo Disney Resort

Hello to all my fellow Disney enthusiasts! Earlier this year, Dom and I made a trip to Japan with our friends and we ended our trip there with a couple days at the Tokyo Disney Resort!! It was an absolute dream come true to visit both Japan and the Disney parks while there. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are Disney on a whole different level of perfection; every detail is immaculate and they have truly put intention behind every single thing there! If you know anything about the parks there, then you’ve probably heard all about the FOOD there!! Let’s get into all our favorite foods we ate while at the Tokyo Disney resort:

Disneyland

Let’s start with our adventure at Tokyo Disneyland! Picture this: strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. (I am pretty positive it is still named that there, but I could be wrong) with the sweet scent of popcorn filling the air. But this isn’t just any popcorn—it’s Curry Popcorn! That’s right, curry-flavored popcorn!! Tokyo Disney does popcorn like no other — we tried over 5 different flavors while we were there! It smelled sooo good and was surprisingly addictive. They have all the different popcorn flavors at both Disneyland and DisneySea.

Speaking of unique treats, have you ever seen the Mike Wazowski Melon Bread?! Inspired by Mike from “Monsters, Inc.,” this adorable melon bread is not only cute but also incredibly tasty. I was shocked by how good it actually was because not everything was a hit; the bread tasted like a sweet melon with a creamy custard filling. It might’ve been my favorite thing we ate while there! We also found this at DisneySea.

DisneySea

Now, let’s hop over to Tokyo DisneySea, where the food is as adventurous as the rides. As you walk through the Mediterranean Harbor, be sure to get the legendary Gyoza Sausage Bun. This was actually the first food item we tried while there! It’s a combo of Italian and Japanese; it’s a juicy sausage wrapped in a savory gyoza dumpling bun. It’s comfort food with a Disney twist and is SO good.

The food item I was looking forward to the most: the Little Green Men Mochi, found at several spots in both DisneySea and Disneyland. These adorable mochi balls filled with custard are almost too cute to eat… almost. They’re the perfect blend of sweet and chewy, making them a must-try dessert. Each one is filled with a different custard: chocolate, strawberry and custard.

The food at Tokyo Disney Resort is an integral part of the magic. The food is not only so good, but also themed to a degree you don’t get back at Walt Disney World. Whether you’re munching on whimsical popcorn in Disneyland or savoring gourmet treats in DisneySea, each bite is a flavorful reminder of the creativity and care that goes into every aspect of the Disney experience.
